1.50 am bitch 460 gms
3.05 am bitch 440 gms
10.05 am male 430 gms
1.30 pm male 400gms

I expect you've guessed things didn't go quite to plan, Sorcha decided three was enough and gave up trying. At 6.30 am I called the Vet and told him Sorcha needed some help then called ace dogsitter Sue to come and help get the new family to the Vet. Darren agrees and a quick scan confirms there's at least one more pup to come, Sorcha has a couple of oxytocin injections but still no pups. Take her for a ride in the van says Darren sometimes that gets things going. So we duly load up Sorcha and the girls and set off for a scenic tour of the New Forest, just as we are passing the pub in Burley Sue shouts stop and a little boy pup arrives in the car park demanding his first pint of Ringwood Brewery's finest. He was a bit blue but rallied quickly so we returned to the Vets and awaited the next arrival..... Sorcha still needs help so boy number two is delivered by C-section, again a bit blue but like his brother is vocal and demanding food very quickly. Sorcha says 'I always knew boys were trouble!'

So the final tally is three girls and two boys!

When Sorcha has recovered and settled back home I'll take some pics for you but for now we all need to rest and enjoy the new family.
